The 5B Adoption Process
Adding a rabbit to your household can be a wonderful, even life-changing decision! Rabbits are intelligent, social, and affectionate animals—but they require specialized care that makes them different from dogs and cats.
Here’s how to get started:

Step 1:
Do your research to learn about rabbit care: download our info packet and check out helpful articles and videos
Step 2:
Complete and submit our application
Step 3:
If your application passes muster, prepare your home for a rabbit then email us some photos and/or videos for review
Step 4:
Schedule an in-person home visit and tweak your set-up as recommended
Step 5:
If approved, purchase a carrier
Step 6:
Meet with an adoption counselor for Q&A and demo’s
Step 7:
Sign our contract(s) and pay the adoption fee
Step 8:
Carry your new family member over the threshold!
